Civil Litigation in the state and federal courts of Massachusetts and New Hampshire including litigation of: Employment disputes and Discrimination actions, Business disputes, Shareholder disputes, Antitrust actions, Partnership disputes, Non-Competition Agreement disputes, ERISA litigation, Construction Litigation, representation of claimants in Wrongful Death, Personal Injury, Medical Negligence, Trucking Negligence and Products Liability actions, Insurance Coverage disputes, Civil Rights actions, Consumer (Chapter 93A) actions and Collection actions. Land Use, Zoning, Environmental and Real Estate representation including residential and commercial title work, negotiation of commercial and residential purchase and sale agreements, commercial development issues (representing both developers and adjoining landowners), zoning approvals, site plan/subdivision issues, conservation commission proceedings, wetlands issues, DEP and EPA issues and approvals, and response, remediation and recovery issues under CERCLA and Chapter 21E including underground storage tank (“UST), oil and hazardous waste issues. When appropriate, the firm undertakes litigation of these issues at the agency, Superior Court and appellate levels. Estate Planning and Administration including wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney, health care proxies, Medicare planning issues, guardianships, conservatorships, elder law, adoptions and guardianships. Probate Litigation including will contests, cy pres petitions, contested guardianships, petitions for partition of real estate, and claims of fiduciary malfeasance. Governmental Investigations/Criminal Litigation representing individuals and businesses involved in investigations by government agencies (including the Department of Justice, the United States Attorney’s Office, the Office of the Massachusetts Attorney General, and the SEC) and those accused of state or federal crimes. |
